                 Global Tropical System Tracks - April 2026

The following Tropical System tracks are compiled from various centers, but 
unless otherwise cited, the data is from the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) 
or from a reanalysis using GRADS. NCEP Reanalysis data provided by the 
NOAA/OAR/ESRL PSD, Boulder, Colorado, USA, from their Web site at 
http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/.

However. in early April 2026 the NCEP Reanalysis have not been discontinued.
Alternate sources have been used as necessary and depending on their availably.
Unless otherwise noted, primary sources are provided by the U.S. government 
while other sources are clearly labeled under the "Other" column.

The data usually does not match the information from the advisories, but is 
closer to the Best Track data. However official Best Track data should
be considered the final and official tracks. The data also includes 
Investigation areas as well as pre- and post-advisory information

NOTE:  Effective early April 2026, the REANALYSIS DATABASE used to augment these
       tracks is no longer updated.  When available, additional resources will be
       utilized.  These resources can be identified as NCEI (Finalized Surface
       Analysis) an SAT REANALYSIS where positions are derived from satellite
       images. We are researching alternate data sources.
