Hot and humid. Areas of high based cumulus and altocumulus with some light showers from the southwest. Clearing by midday to sunny. Cirrus later in the afternoon.

Awesomely electrically active storms moved into the Clarence Valley from early evening. Storm chase with Rodney Wallbridge to Whiporie then Lawrence.

Several low precipitation cells drifting northeast with each producing some fresh outflow but no rain at our locations.

The best CG show since 8th January 2003 !
