Wild Conditions with Local Flooding as Low batters Northeast NSW and Southeast Queensland: Saturday 4th March 2006 by Michael Bath |
A strong low pressure system of tropical origins moved south to near the Queensland / NSW border area by 4th March.
Wild seas and local flooding occurred in coastal parts of Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Northern Rivers.
A number of roads were cut by the heavy rain, and beach erosion significant from the pounding surf.
