This system was accidentally numbered as TC-32P in the first warning issued by NPMOC. In order to avoid confusion this number was retained in subsequent warnings. However, it will officially be known as TC-36P. ************************************************************************* Storm Name: BART Cyclone Number: 37-P Basin: SWP Date Time Lat Lon Cen Pres MSW Remarks (GMT) (mb) (kts) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 98 APR 28 2200 15.0 S 144.0 W 1006 25 98 APR 29 1200 16.0 S 140.0 W 1000 30 98 APR 29 1800 17.5 S 139.5 W 995 35 98 APR 30 0000 17.8 S 138.0 W 988 45 98 APR 30 0600 18.7 S 138.0 W 988 45 98 APR 30 1200 19.2 S 137.8 W 988 45 98 APR 30 1800 19.4 S 137.2 W 988 45 98 MAY 01 0000 19.7 S 136.0 W 990 40 98 MAY 01 0600 20.0 S 135.2 W 995 35 (southern semi-circle) 98 MAY 01 1200 20.5 S 134.8 W 998 35 ( " " ) 98 MAY 01 1800 21.0 S 134.0 W 1000 30 98 MAY 02 1800 22.0 S 131.0 W 35 (southern quadrant) 98 MAY 03 0000 24.0 S 130.0 W 35 ( " " ) NOTE: The gale force winds indicated after 0000 UTC on 01 May were forecast to be occurring in the southern quadrant or semi-circle only. ************************************************************************* ************************************************************************* *************************************************************************
