Comments: This track is the operational track based on warnings by the Fiji Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre. This was sent to me by Mark Kersemakers of the Fiji Meteorological Service. Positions from JTWC's warnings compared very closely except the one noted above. The MSW in the table above are based on a 10-min averaging period. To convert these to equivalent 1-min avg winds multiply by 1.15. (The 45 kts given by Guam at 0600 UTC on 12 Oct is a 1-min avg wind.)
